The curriculum for the Certified Pool/Spa Operator Course is academic based. Participants successfully completing the CPO Course can receive Continuing Education Units (CEU Credit) from the following organizations: The State of Ohio   State Board of Sanitarian Registration 14 Credits The State of Indiana   State Board of Sanitarian Registration 14 Credits The United States of America   Defense Department –   Continuing Education 14 Credits Ohio Parks and Recreation Association 1.6 Units Illinois Parks and Recreation Association 1.6 Units If you wish to receive credit from one of these agencies, our office will process the necessary paperwork. Award Certificates will be mailed to you within three weeks. If your certifying agency is not listed here, contact them directly before attending the course. Secure their required paperwork and bring it with you to class. We will then be able to assist you in processing your formal request for Continuing Education Units.
